Axie Infinity Adds New Community Creator Programs
Axie Infinity aims to boost adoption with new creator profit sharing program and a free academy for video creation.
- Axie Creators Academy signups open until July 20.
- Special referral codes for creators to be generated in the coming months.
- AXS keeps above $16 as game is played in small tournaments.
Axie Infinity aims to grow engagement and boost its ecosystem by creating a series of programs for community creation.
We've launched 3 programs to support and inspire our community creators:
• Lunacian Codes: https://t.co/a2AVCE6MhN.
• Creator program in collaboration with @QU3ST_io: https://t.co/O0jkGFnecJ
• Creator fellowships with @nasacademy: https://t.co/2KEky60QGU

The three-month program will encompass various content creation efforts, aimed at revealing the Axie ecosystem features.
What are Lunacian Codes
The biggest change for Axie Infinity is the newly created Lunacian Codes program for referrals. There will be varied tiers of referral codes, with general codes open to anyone. Creators may receive custom codes in the future to onboard new users.
Currently, all users can register to receive their Lunacian Code, based on their Sky Mavis registration and game account. In the future, creators may generate additional custom codes.
Axie Infinity currently takes a 4.25% marketplace fee, and will share a part of that fee with each code holder. This is a way to expand the community while also sharing in the profits of the NFT marketplace. Axie remains one of the most actively traded NFT, leading to the creation of 3M accounts on the Ronin network within months.
Join Axie Content Creation Academy
To boost the quality of content, Axie Creators Academy is now open to upgrade the skills of new participants. The program is open to anyone wishing to create using the Axie resource packs, open for registration in the next 23 days.
The program will run for three months and include contact with trainers, as well as 25,000 surprise rewards.
Axie Activity Shifts to Small Tournaments
The Axie ecosystem aims to reinvent its P2E model, in preparation for the Origin launch later this year.
Currently, the game is off-season and rewards can be found in small private tournaments.
The @BigYakAxieClub Collectors Cup for @AxieInfinity Origin is getting really juicy!!! There are only 6 contenders left, and I am fortunately one of them! The Finals will start tonight at 7PM EST, and I am throwing a watch party on my channel!!! https://t.co/ebWsEhehpU pic.twitter.com/9v2rYF2Gn1

At the same time, free play remains highly active on Origin, running also as a form of testing. Origin has onboarded more than 600K players with the issue of a free Axie team.
The biggest problem for Axie Infinity remains the relatively low price of its native assets. AXS trades at $16.51, while SLP stalled at $0.004, making the P2E model less viable.
