Sipher Odyssey is one of the few web3 game projects that actually delivered a playable, enjoyable product. The Open Beta across 46 countries is a real milestone that most crypto games never reach. The domain migration from sipher.xyz to playsipher.com was confusing but not concerning. It is just a URL change, not a sign of trouble. Whether Sipher can compete long-term against established F2P ARPGs from traditional studios remains the real question.

Sipher Odyssey migrated from sipher.xyz to playsipher.com and launched Open Beta across 46 countries in 2025. With a 120-person team and an actual playable product, Sipher is one of the few NFT gaming projects that delivered a real game. The years-long wait frustrated NFT holders, but the game is genuinely here now.
