Elementies NFT Game Reaches Alpha Launch Stage

Elementies is a new NFT game inspired by Pokemon and reviving the Axie Infinity model. The game is days away from a launch of its first alpha test, and will reach out to its first early adopters.

Elementies is built by Quantum Gravity Studios, which specializes in Web3 games. Elementies is the studio’s chief effort, but it is also working on two metaverses and an NFT marketplace with fractional ownership. 

At its current stage, the game is worth watching for signup opportunities for early tests. Additionally, the game offers periodic giveaways of its native NFT.

Some of the early, still non-playable Elementies are listed on OpenSea, with 0.5 SOL floor price. The project has seen some trading, but the goal is to hold onto the early items with the potential for breeding and in-game advantages.

What Makes Elementies Stand Out

Elementies has many common points with Axie Infinity, including the main character design, which shares many features with the Axies. The game will be available on multiple platforms, including PC and mobile. 

Menties, as the game’s creatures are known, will have a Fire, Wind and Ice element, at least in the upcoming alpha test. There will also be non-affiliated generic Elementies with special skills. 

The main difference is that Elementies will use Solana for its token and NFT ownership. At this point, Solana is seen as a riskier blockchain, but the actual tokenization of Elementies is still ahead, with an IDO still in the works. 

The actual game expects its open beta to arrive by mid-2023, when most of the full functionalities will be released, including breeding, land ownership and PvP. The chief feature is that the game will start afresh with a new balance, and without the errors which led to Axie Infinity losing its value. The game will have a double-token model with BRP and ELM assets, as well as its native marketplace. Only 1% of ELM tokens will go into the initial public sale.
