Meta Apes is a fully launched NFT game that is now trying to boost its reputation. Meta Apes lined up among trending projects after announcing Relics, a new addition to the game. Meta Apes offers the usual mix of NFT and tokens, as well as an app with more than 100K downloads.

Meta Apes is a game closely resembling Age of Apes, mixing resource gameplay, city building and battles against enemies. Meta Apes presents the need for a strategy to build a home base and set out for additional exploration. 

The Meta Apes universe is set in a post-catastrophe future where humans have abandoned Earth to the apes. Warring clans try to build their civilization and overcome enemies. Players join one of the six Clans and can band up for more efficient quests. The game has the option of PvE battles against the Mutant Monkeys inhabiting the planet, or PvP against other teams.

The launch of Meta Apes in August shows there may still be demand for active new games, especially with live apps and a growing community.

Meta Apes Brings Peak Player Count

Meta Apes is performing surprisingly well despite the bear market, as it has secured its positions as an iOS and Android game. 

Recently, Meta Apes reached a record of its daily player count, at 13.25K players per day, a level only seen among top Web3 and P2E games. The player count has been improving since the beginning of December, making Meta Apes the top 8 game on BNB Chain. 

The game’s NFT can also be bridged from BNB Chain into Ape Chain, a specifically created network. Yet most of the game’s activity is still tied to BNB Chain. Users that want to interact with the game’s blockchain features must own MetaMask wallet, though for the rest the app is free to play.

Meta Apes is also boosting BNB Chain usage by opening deposits for PEEL tokens. The need to buy and supply tokens for in-game usage and additional rewards is also contributing to the peak player count of Meta Apes.
