Mines of Dalarnia Brings New Quests Each Month from June

Mines of Dalarnia aims to drive engagement with a new set of competitions and guaranteed participation prizes.
  • Mines of Dalarnia will hold a four-month session of quests with a dedicated DAR prize pool.
  • Each player must complete 10 Competition attempts to gain 150 DAR.
  • The Quests will be open for all Ape NFT owners, with a snapshot at the start of each month.

Starting this June 1, Mines of Dalarnia will bring a new Monthly Quest program. This will extend the sporadic special events with prizes, one of which is active now. Monthly quests will have different goals and special items, aiming to bring more engagement. With its monthly quests, Mines of Dalarnia uses a model similar to Sunflower Land, which adds new appealing items and retains users.

Now, all Ape NFT holders can join the monthly quests, with a sustainable pool of DAR tokens to be shared at the end of each mini-season.

The prize pool will go partially to winners with the best scores. But players and Ape owners will also have guaranteed returns for 10 competition attempts. Owning an Ape is key to joining the Monthly Quest. Before each event, the Ape must be held in a custodial wallet for the snapshot.

Mines of Dalarnia will hold a series of mining competitions, where the player must sign up and attempt. There are multiple competitions open, but players can choose which ones to attempt. For any single dungeon and competition, the maximum attempts are five. Players must complete the 10 attempts to receive a part of the rewards at the end of the season.

For all completed quests, each Ape will earn a guaranteed reward of 150 DAR tokens. For the initial stage of the Quests, Mines of Dalarnia set aside 1.8M DAR. Depending on interest in the game, the Quests will run for four months. If there is more DAR left unclaimed, the Quests will continue until the prize pool is depleted.

Mines of Dalarnia Gives Utility to its NFT

Mines of Dalarnia started off as a classic P2E game, which led to the overproduction of tokens. The initial NFT sale also resulted in a long waiting period before the game’s launch. But in the interim, Mines of Dalarnia built new levels, rebalanced its tool economy and keeps making utility for Ape NFT.

Mines of Dalarnia also retains its Canary Bird collection, which has in-game utility, but also a small secondary market.
