In the meantime, Omega Royale is also hosting its Season 2 with competitive leaderboards and prizes. Omega Royale relies on its own model of a time-based tower defense, mixing collectible characters and cards. Players need to use the right creatures and cards to slow down and eliminate waves of enemies. Rewards are given for surviving longer under attack, or even destroying all enemies.
Mobile Version Coming in March
For now, Omega Royale is a browser-based game, expecting a mobile launch soon. In 2023, the game will also be tokenized for additional rewards. The game starts out for free for anyone, with the potential to mint and own specific attack cards.
The alpha mobile version is expected to arrive in early March, extending the busy streak with more than 500K games played so far. Omega Royale relies on a highly engaging model with non-stop attacks. The collectible nature of the game and the competitive potential are also boosting the retention rate.
Omega Royale is also running special themed events with different biomes, with the latest one dubbed Deadly Dunes. The special events are part of the game’s goal of letting anyone earn and receive NFT for their collection, only through regular gameplay.
Additionally, Omega Royale is also adding new Defenders as the game progresses, and each map is slightly different, creating challenges to place the best creatures. To avoid minting too many items, only top players have the chance to mint their characters or cards.
The Omega Token will be introduced at a later date, and there will be no pre-sale or IDO event. Tokens will be issued as the game progresses, paying all players.
