Ookenga is a 3D game with NFT, offering an immersive experience. The game brings together the play-to-own concept, along with potential for e-sports tournaments. This game is powered by the Myria blockchain, one of the hubs for Web3 growth. However, in its current version of NFT ownership, Ookenga is still running on BNB Chain.
Ookenga is now busy building partnerships to reach a wider audience. The game partners with both crypto communities and DAO, as well as gaming platforms. But the drive for adoption also includes regular tournaments with a prize pool.
The ranked tournament has returned with its May edition, after wrapping up the March competition. The top 100 players will be selected for rewards by the end of the season. Playing Ookenga even outside seasons is important, as higher-ranked players in general will receive more valuable items from the tournament. Players must win battles in PvP mode, with unlimited daily matches, to rank as high as possible.
Ookenga Offers Multiple Game Modes
Ookenga is a metaverse-based game with the potential to own land plots. The third-person view of the world offers a mix of exploration for resources and battles.
The goal is to own NFT Heroes, equip them through crafting, then earn by challenging opponents to battles. For peaceful players, Story mode offers exploration of the Ookenga lore.
Ookenga is also a game of strategy, based on the five available classes of insect warriors. Each Clan has its own balance of strengths and weaknesses, offering endless game combinations. Players must choose for vitality, tenacity, maturation time, combat skills and lifestyle for their Clan.
Ookenga to Add Voting, DAO, Land Ownership
Ookenga is tokenized with OKG and KAB tokens, of which OKG can be traded, staked and used for voting. KAB is the in-game token, which pays for advancements, and is inflationary, to be used within the Ookenga economy.
In 2023, the game is mostly completed, and now plans to add a more thorough land ownership system. Ookenga will soon be added for scholarships. New features, content, weapons and a DAO will be added in the second half of 2023.
