Space Mavericks offers NFT Commanders, which are key to building a team and joining one of the game’s main modes. Space Mavericks mixes exploration, battle royale, spaceship operation, and arena mode. Several opportunities are open to teams of up to 8 players and 4 Allies.
Space Mavericks will include basic PvE, multiplayer boss fights, and multiplayer tournaments.
Players can also use their Space Ships to land on planets and explore their sector of the universe. All battles and explorations are designed to happen in real-time. Space Mavericks has already launched its basic gameplay and is offering special Discord events and game nights.
Space Mavericks Expects Official Launch in 2023
Space Mavericks holds limited events, chats and NFT drops to retain early interest. The game has opened an early signup to start playing an early access version.
Space Mavericks will be free to play, but also tied to NFT ownership. Commanders are key to the game’s progress, as they are an access point to spaceships and battle strategies. The game unlocks commands and skills as the playable NFT advance. Winning battles becomes easier with additional commands unlocked.
Spaceships also take part in the battle, with active and passive features, including speed and defense, as well as simple and complex shooting. Spaceships will also work as an earnings multiplier once the game fully launches its P2E aspect. Space Mavericks also plans an in-game economy with a marketplace, to include token swaps, consumables trading for ship fuel, as well as an in-game metaverse bank for staking tokens. Even with a token model, Space Mavericks wants to build a fun-first product for Web3 mass adoption.
In its main gameplay, Space Mavericks resembles Alien Worlds, one of the most successful Web3 games. The main source of success for Alien Worlds are the constant mini-tournaments that gather players globally and keep the game highly active.
