Undead Blocks Counts Down to Switching on P2E Mode

Undead Blocks offers limited ZBUX rewards for daily gaming, in addition to tournament prizes.
  • Undead Blocks aims to expand as a mobile game with added P2E earnings.
  • Until now, Undead Blocks relied on prize pools of USDT tokens.
  • ZBUX, the in-game token, was mostly used to acquire weapons or for upgrades.

Undead Blocks, one of the highly finished Web3 games with a console version, will add a full play-to-earn mode. Until now, Undead Blocks served as an e-sports game with advanced FPS mechanics.

Undead Blocks has already introduced ZBUX as an in-game currency, but with usage only within the game to advance equipment and weapons. Players could also buy UNDEAD, which is a traded token. But the main focus of Undead Blocks was that it was not a classic P2E game. Instead, Undead Blocks held tournament events, where a prize pool was supplied to bring in players.

Additionally, Undead Blocks will introduce battle passes, in addition to the weapons which made some of the players eligible for special events. Undead Blocks is one of the games with strong incentives to hold onto the Genesis NFT weapons, or other specialty collections.

The new P2E model will be added to the currently existing weekend tournaments with a prize pool. The new model will also add weapon renting to the game, meaning not all players will need to acquire some of the game’s weapons categories.

Currently, Undead Blocks is a console and desktop game, with several active gaming modes, including solo and group battles. Recently, the game team also showed a sneak preview of its mobile version.

With the new version, Undead Blocks will tap a wider market, including users of P2E games that prefer to play on mobile. As with other game features, the first to access the mobile version will be holders of Genesis weapons.

Genesis Weapon Ownership Still Grants In-Game Bonuses

Only 2% of all Genesis Weapons are listed on the secondary NFT market, with a significant ETH turnover. A set of basic weapons is on offer for 0.012 ETH, with much higher asking price for rare items.

Owning a Genesis Weapon will also grant access to a Loot Coffin, a set of additional items based also on game XP and advancement. This March 5, players will receive 10 to 50 loot boxes based on their level in the game.
