WAX Expands with Unity3D SDK, Support and Tutorials Available

WAX already offers multiple tools for game builders and other types of apps.

The WAX blockchain aims to expand to complex 3D games, with its latest addition of Unity3D SDK. WAX was preparing for its Unity SDK release for a long time, and is now ready to popularize the building tool.

The WAX Unity3D SDK is available as an open resource, bringing together a suite of features. The main tools for development include wallets, NFT mints, and data access.

WAX Offers Multiple Wallet Access

The WAX Blockchain remains attractive for tying up its account creation with wallet ownership. The WAX Clowd Wallet is created immediately for all users. Other features include Anchor Wallet, which allows users to remain in control of their assets. 

The Unity3D SDK also allows includes an Authentication library, allowing games to connect through other wallet types. All the resources are documented and available openly through GitHub.

Developers using the WAX suite can also access the Atomic market and make calls on the WAX blockchain. The WAX blockchain is extremely fast, using delegated nodes to produce real-time transactions. WAX already carries one of the most active games, Alien Worlds, and allows for multiple low-fee NFT mints. 

Despite this, WAX has not attracted 3D games so far, with most of its features including some form of GameFi. WAX aims to bring games of the rank of Undead Blocks, Illuvium or already built 3D features with the potential to add items and tokens. 

The most successful games on WAX include Farmers World, Wombat Dungeon Master, and Castles the NFT Game. 

WAX Offers Support for Teams Using its SDK

All the SDK resources of WAX are supported and curated by Stratton SDKs. Aside from supporting the SDK, the studio offers trading and expert advice on deploying the resources in the context of an app.
