P2E and Web3 Weekly Review (April 28- May 5)
Older P2E games are still attempting to reinvent their model and return, as in the case of Pegaxy.
Web3 games continue to work as a mix of already established products, along with those that were onboarded from Web2 games. Successful models can be found ranging from simple semi-idle games to complex 3D metaverses. Building continues to be a mix of large teams, or independent teams earning grants and support. Unity and Unreal Engine games are always in progress, but mini-puzzles and competitive arcade games, card games, arena battles remain popular.
