Alpha League Racing: What This Solana-Based Game Has to Offer

Alpha League Racing goes for a slow on-demand mint of 10K cars, to avoid overhyping the event and tapping real game demand.
  • Buying one car on the Solana network is enough to start the game.
  • SOL and NFT rewards offered for tournaments.
  • Game offers an alternative to REVV Racing and other simulated racing tracks.

Alpha League Racing is trending as one of the competitive NFT car games based on the Solana network. The game is still untracked by DappRadar, and its NFT collection circulates within marketplaces specific to the Solana network.

Alpha League Racing started to trend about a month after its initial mint. The NFT to enter were on offer at 0.25 SOL, joining the highly active Solana-based mint and resale market. Owning an NFT gives access to the Alphaverse and to racing tournaments.

According to the game’s own records, the adoption is just starting out, with 2,332 racers joining in the weeks since launch. Minting cars is possible even now, at the same 0.25 SOL price. With a lower SOL price under $50, this game is also more accessible. The number of cars is limited to 10K, according to the game’s initial decision. The game is accessible through Phantom wallet, Slope, or Solflare.

The game admits to using a slow-mint strategy, instead of a short-term event to create hype. This means all NFT cars created are minted just because the gamers want them.

Alpha League also adds varied terrains in its metaverse of tracks, with a more original approach to racing tracks. The game also sold non-fungible tokens for garages, adding value to the game.

NFT Mints for Alpha League Racing Remain Accessible with Low SOL Prices

Alpha League Racing is thus another variation on simulated racing games, which include REVV Racing and partially, Pegaxy and other simulated horse-track games. The game makes use of short-term tournaments to gather as many players as possible in the competition. For now, the game relies on NFT rewards and SOL earnings, with no announcement of a native token.

Alpha League Racing is currently in PvE mode, with multiplayer racing expected in the coming months.

The game is just getting noticed, though it had an MVP for months. The NFT mint and the tournaments with a $1,000 reward offer significant earnings despite the game’s novelty. Alpha League Racing is a game to watch in 2022, offering growth and potential for more races with a relatively accessible initial NFT purchase. On the secondary market, some of the cars go at below mint prices, at 0.07 SOL or lower on the Solana-based marketplace.
