Far from Home Adventure Metaverse Prepares for Launch on WAX Ecosystem

WAX-based games offer extremely low fees and usually sell more accessible NFT items.
  • Far from Home is a metaverse with adventure mode and upcoming battle.
  • The project is still in the NFT stage, drawing in dozens of interactions with WAX each day.
  • Players buy machines and may exploit distant planets for resources to fuel missions.

Far from Home Adventure Metaverse is an early-stage game with a DeFi element, which is planning its launch on the WAX ecosystem. Far from Home offers a free-to-access endless metaverse with a space-exploration theme.

The game also has regular NFT airdrops for early participants.

The game has completed its first set of milestones to launch in alpha, while also achieving tokenization and the first rounds of NFT minting.

The game has a similar goal to other metaverses featuring alien worlds and planets to explore. The game’s visuals and main themes resemble Rogue Galaxies and Star Atlas, joining the trend of bringing to life a rich and detailed metaverse.

Far from Home Offers NFT-First Approach

Despite its exploration preview, Far from Home currently relies on blockchain tasks, including the minting of NFT packs.

Currently, Far from Home has a pack sale for the WAX equivalent of $49.99. As the metaverse expands to planet and solar system exploration and other development stages, more airdrops are expected. The game requires a WAX account to access the Atomic Hub marketplace and participate in drops and mints.

The game is only available for initial preview. PvP mode is coming soon as a minimal sample, as well as basic crafting. Far from Home may lag in development while requiring early buyers to hold or stake their NFT and wait the game’s further release.

Far from Home Still in NFT Sale and Airdrop Stage

Far from Home will thus develop in DeFi and NFT usage for a long time before its final release. The game may be worth watching in 2023 for relatively accessible ownership and a full launch by the end of the year. The game will also offer resource gameplay and mining exploration, where players need machines first to achieve their mission.

Because Far from Home is an NFT game, DappRadar is already noting dozens of users interacting with the smart contracts. The game is still ranked 73 on the WAX blockchain, but still shows interest for new launches. Top NFT sales and resales have also reached above 645 WAX.
