Pegaxy unveiled the long-awaited game changes coming this July. The game has shifted its roadmap, delaying land-based auctions and gameplay where stadiums would be owned by players. However, Pegaxy still aims to bring food and gear into the game to add another layer of decision-making.
Pegaxy will introduce different consumables, some will be tied to the type of Pega NFT user, or will be able to alter the Pega features.
As with other game features, the rarest Pega will have the most benefit, being able to race with a shorter cooldown period. Pegaxy remains a game where top Pega and guilds still have the highest gains potential. Pegaxy also extends its Hall of Fame with new top competing NFT.
Pega NFT continue expanding, closing in on 1M items despite the proposed fusion mechanism. The floor price is down by 50% in the past few days, to 0.01 ETH, though unique or Founding Pegas may reach much higher valuations.
Is Pegaxy Game Still Viable
The Pegaxy game aims to expand its adoption and rely on the mobile app for more gameplays. However, PGX slid to $0.019 and Vigorus (VIS) is at $0.00012 despite the available burn mechanisms.
Pegaxy retains 5.96K players per day, and is ranked seventh on the Polygon network, displaced by Crazy Defense Heroes. Pegaxy remains one of the more advanced P2E games, but guilds and big breeders may be the more significant earners.
Adding consumables may shift the game balance, though still benefitting more rare Pega owners and big guilds. For players beginning now, the game may actually have a negative earnings ratio, not being able to recoup the initial Pega investment.
Pegaxy has not offered free mode yet, and the Pega NFT prices are supported by bots. Pegaxy banned bot accounts, but not the ones being able to buy up NFT on the OpenSea marketplace. Still, the team strives to make the game more interesting with a view on rebalancing the economy and returning profitability down the line. Pegaxy may add fairness to smaller players through mystery box drops during races.
