- Sunflower Land brought Potions and Mutant Crops to boost recipes and earnings.
- The game now allows players to deposit their Bumpkin NFT and all cosmetic items.
- Sunflower Land will open a Town Square and turn into an MMORPG.
Sunflower Land, the Polygon-based simulated farming game, is constantly evolving. The next two game updates will help turn Sunflower Land into an MMORPG with the same sustainable in-game economy.
For its next update, Sunflower Land will increase the utility of Bumpkins, its main NFT which is needed to start playing the game. Bumpkins continue to be minted for a flat fee of $5 in USDT, and have existed separately from the game. However, Bumpkins will now be able to join the fray by directly depositing the NFT.
Sunflower Land Brings Dynamic NFT Into the Game
Sunflower Land announced the launch of its Bumpkin deposits, adding to the recently introduced Town Square. Together, the two features may transform Sunflower Land into an MMORPG. The team showcased its new addition, where the Bumpkin can be deposited into the game, and all equipment and cosmetic items can be added.
Bumpkins will now have a progress arc, building up Skill Points to join several available professions. In the current version, Bumpkins will have one major skill, but in future updates they will be able to re-skill.
Bumpkins will also have an individual Achievement chart with progress for completing special missions.
Sunflower Land to Add Mutant Crops, Potion Use Cases
The update follows the introduction of Potions, which will also lead to the launch of Mutant Crops, currently being developed by the team, and will add to trading.
Mutant Crops are the latest addition following the Fruit Trees, which are a part of complex crafting recipes. Currently, the progress arc of Sunflower Land is about acquiring rare accessories and equipping the Bumpkins.
Sunflower Land remains the top example of a grass-roots game with real engagement, retaining its users despite the bear market. The game team uses special short-term events and NFT additions to keep players grinding and earning. For now, most of the game’s products are sold in the Goblin Store, and the buying is automated, but players are also demanding a P2P economy.
Most players do not sell the SFL asset, which remains in the game. Currently, SFL trades around $0.04 with relatively low activity outside the game market.
