Token Hunters is a new geolocation game with the chance to win crypto tokens and NFT. The game is a spinoff from the already-produced app Treasure Hunters, which offers digital gifts based on real locations.

Token Hunters extends a successful list of games for geotagged tokens, vaults and prizes, which also includes DexiHunt. Token hunt games mix move-to-earn with an element of luck, and create localized communities around big cities.
TokenHunters by SwissBorg offers a quest selection mechanic, followed by seeking out the treasure chest in real life. Once the chest is close enough, players can claim it and everything inside. For some opportunities, players may also want to buy HUNT tokens. Certain items can also make the coin hunt easier, such as the thermometer or compass, which will give directions to the coin locations.
To make the game more engaging, TokenHunters will have a friends referral system. Additionally, some of the items collected will be raw materials or elements, which can be crafted into more rare and valuable NFT.
TokenHunters Offers Checkpoint, Avatar Ownership
At the alpha stage, TokenHunters is available as an Android download. Treasure locations are still open only in France, India, and Switzerland. The game also has a global list of checkpoints, which can be anywhere in the world, including New York or Tokyo. Checkpoints can be bus stations or other landmarks. TokenHunters is also preparing to announce new locations and spread to additional countries, in city or outdoor environments.
The Checkpoints can be sold and owned as NFT, and used as a form of passive income. Whenever a player passes through a checkpoint, the owner will also receive a reward. However, the checkpoints may be valid only where the game has opened up quests.
TokenHunters will also have special avatars, which can be earned during quests, or acquired on the marketplace. Avatars will make the discovery of some of the treasures easier, and may boost potential coin earnings.
