Crabada Announces GameFi Asia Pass Giveaway

Crabada continues with TUS burns to slow down the token’s price decline.
  • Crabada reaches out to its community as Avalanche games try to grow their popularity.
  • The game resells more than 5K NFT per week, with active battle gameplay.
  • CRA turns into staking token producing additional CRA rewards.

Crabada calls out to its community with a new giveaway – this time a chance to experience GameFi Asia with 50 passes. GameFi Asia is a four-day hybrid experience covering the recent industry developments, running July 18-22.

The event will feature digital seminars and a physical exhibition place, reviving the conference and meetup circuit in one of the most active summers after two years of disruptions. Crabada will be one of the hosts and presenters, along with prominent games like Thetan Arena and the move-to-earn leader, STEPN.

Crabada Attempts Rebalancing with Token Burn

Crabada continues with regular TUS token burns, though for now the effect on the price is limited. TUS is exclusively used for breeding fees and for paying gas on Swimmer Network.

TUS trades at $0.00032, unraveling much below the viability level of Crabada at $0.015, estimated by players. Still, Crabada hosts multiple real players as they compete for leveling up in the battle game. TUS is also used to acquire food and keep Crab NFT statistics sufficiently high.

A low TUS price means joining the game with a team of Crabs may be viable. Currently, the actual Crab NFT value does not matter as much as the in-game achievement. CRA, the staking token of Crabada, remains stagnant around $0.15, its usual level.

Crabada is in the process of phasing out Crab Amulet, or CRAM, a staking token which will be used to attrition for fees. The new staking token will be CRA, which will also pay additional CRA passive income.

DappRadar is no longer tracking Crabada, the only estimate of success are the nearly 25K newly generated wallets on Swimmer Network. The other indicator is organic growh from players.

At the same time, Crabada lowered some of its protections against bots, by renewing its idle game and removing captcha requirements. In the short term, this may lead to more account creation and fee generation. The Crabada game still resells more than 5K NFT Crabs per week, while achieving $8,800 in value turnover.
