Crabada Brings New Weekly Bounty Challenge to Compete Against Top Players

Crabada aims to keep its players engaged, while hunting for food and raw materials for crafting.
  • Crabada opens weekly challenges, also open for Snake City players.
  • GUS tokens get burned for Arena Mode fees.
  • The game offers more items and smaller token rewards to avoid inflation.

Crabada is introducing new elements of complexity to engage its community. One of the latest additions is the weekly Bounty Challenge, where players can stand against the week’s most powerful eams.

The weekly Bounties can be earned within a short time window, after announcing the best players. Crabada players can also get Rubies, Spinach, Crystal Shells and other items by playing Snake City Bounty Mode.

Crabada also tracks the usage of equippable weapons and armors, turning it into another competitive feature. Within the games, players gravitate toward some of the most attractive weapon and armor sets. Crabada has started tracking those preferences, to gauge engagement and also give a hint at the most common equipment powers.

In its current challenge mix, Crabada has already attracted more than 21K players competing in its Adventure Mode game, taking over a series of more than 100 levels. Crabada introduced a more involved resource-gathering process, with consumables required to compete in matches.

Additionally, arena mode has a different type of challenge and power balance each week. In total, Crabada still reports around 3K daily players in various modes, and about 1,000 participants in the ongoing daily lucky draws. Crabada remains one of the games that kept building throughout the bear market and is now trying to rebalance its in-game value.

Crabada Builds More Complex Game Economy

The goal of the latest Crabada changes is to build an in-game economy where players use their gains to advance and get better armor, instead of cashing out. In the game, Gold Under Sea has replaced TUS as the main token. GUS is also burned for getting Arena participation tickets, so that its supply remains limited.

Unlike TUS, GUS has not seen over-production or bot-powered play. Instead, players must take real care about building a powerful team. The next stage for the game is to reduce the number of available NFT, by offering a burn mechanism that uses extra Crabs as a resource.
