Reta Wars Prepares for Major Updates After Server Restart

Reta Wars will restart its servers and start the new playable period with additional perks and a renewed balance.
  • Reta Wars is a fantasy-themed game of strategy with a GameFi element.
  • Deploy Heroes, pick their tasks and choose a path to upgrading.
  • New perks after players reach a baseline level while avoiding level-downs.

Reta Wars released its first version in Q4, 2022, and is now preparing for a new series of major updates. The game will restart its servers ahead of the weekend, in preparation for the major upgrades. Later this Friday, the game was preparing for a big announcement on its evolution.

Reta Wars is a game of NFT heroes, planning strategies to build up their base. Advancing in the game also has GameFi components with the potential for ownership and token earnings. The game is controllable and skill-based, though without fast-action elements. The end goal is civilization-building and deploying the right heroes at the right moment to reap benefits.

Reta Wars Brings Rebalancing Upgrades

The coming updates will include Elixirs to boost performance. The game will include a level-down risk, which will be displayed above Level 10. The goal is for Heroes to evolve past a certain threshold, where additional perks and benefits will apply.

Reta Wars will also include new loot boxes, as well as an NFT shop with GRT rewards. The GRT spent for mystery boxes or other limited-edition items will be burned. GRT will also have additional utility in the game and in upgrading Heroes. All GRT used for purchases will be burned, boosting the token’s price through scarcity.

The game will also include NFT Break-Up, which will produce Dolls and Soul Flowers, another game utility asset. The goal is to limit the oversupply of NFT while changing the course of the game through new crafting and adventures.

Reta Wars Offers Multiple Strategy Paths

Players pick and hire Heroes, then move on to the construction of different levels. Placing the right selection of Heroes and progressing will grant users a source of passive income. Reta Wars is not an action game, but still requires user control to make Heroes produce resources or fight enemies.

There is no fixed path for the GameFi element, and strategies will produce different earnings. Different paths include ranking and competition, wars, building an army, with Tenants and Feudal Lords coming soon as yet another path to development.
