- Sunflower Land will add three new Fruit, which will be used in multiple recipes.
- The game is still strict about multi-accounting.
- Sunflower Land still offers Bumpkins for $5 to start Land Expansion.
About a month after its open beta launch, Sunflower Land is showing a robust player count. The game is also back to its schedule of regular upgrades, recently adding fruit-growing mechanics.
Sunflower Land has moved beyond its limitation of 151,500 accounts during the Beta stage. The new open version will require a Bumpking instead of a farm, and a game account.
Unfortunately, the game again encountered a multi-accounting problem, and now some of the new accounts and farms are banned. The goal of Sunflower Land is to bring one player with one account, which grows and upgrades constantly.
Fruit Brings New Growth Opportunities
The fruit in Sunflower Land will have a growth loop similar to crops. Players will be able to grow and sell fruit to earn SFL and then use the token as they wish, either inside the game or for withdrawals.
Fruit will be also part of craft recipes for clothing or other serially produced items, which will be semi-fungible tokens. Fruit will also be part of periodic Bumpkin Quests, and will be able to produce special food to level up Bumpkins.
The game will start with three fruit, Blueberry, Orange, and Apple, which will be the most difficult to obtain and will require a Level 15 account. Players will also have to work personally toward land expansion to become eligible for fruit plots. Fruit cannot grow on all island plots, hence the added rarity.
A Fruit Tree will last for 3-5 harvests, determined randomly, then players can chop the dead tree with an axe and receive one piece of wood.
For players with higher XP, fruit can be used to produce juices and smoothies for resale. Fruit can also be combined with other resources to bring to life rare and rather expensive decorative items.
Sunflower Land also has one of the most predictable prices for its tokens. SFL is not affected by mass selling even in the open beta version, and retains a level of $0.10.
