- Zodium aims to bring a Zodiac-based collection of NFT.
- The game offers mystery packs for 100 ZODI tokens.
- The Land of TIme game using Zodiac NFT is expected in early 2023.
Zodium is yet another NFT game with its own outstanding collection, which will be partnering with The Sandbox. Zodium is now gaining more exposure by sending its avatars into another well-visited Metaverse.
The addition of Zodium arrives just days after Voxie Tactics joined The Sandbox after a long wait. Zodium offers a collection of cartoon-style 3D avatars, taken from 12 KINDs based on ancient Zodiac signs. The game will be a play-and-earn product, allowing players to start for free, earn assets and own their Soul NFT with exclusive rights.
Players can earn ZODI tokens, available through ImmutableX and Polygon, for various in-game advancements, as well as community votes. ZODI tokens are also used to buy additional NFT characters, in a process of random drawing, with each NFT pack containing three characters.
Zodiac characters are also starting to trade on the game’s native marketplace, with some on offer for above 0.5 BNB. Players also need to transform their V1 characters into V2 to migrate them to a new standard. All new mints will be of V2 characters.
What Makes Zodium Stand Out
Zodium presents 12 KINDs of NFT, with five tiers of rarity – Common, Rare, Legendary, Soul Zodiac and Untouchable. The goal is to make each Zodiac compatible with browser and mobile games, as well as the upcoming metaverse.
The more rare the Zodiac, the better benefits will be given within games. Players acquire a Soul Zodiac when they acquire the right Kind, which matches their birth date. Soul Zodiacs are personalized to each player.
Untouchables are usually tied to special events, and are released through an auction. Some of the Untouchable NFT are unique. For now, the game is only open to draw NFT cards and produce Zodiacs by upgrading. The closed beta for the Land of Time game is expected in Q1, 2023.
Zodium also wants to become a full Web3 project, going beyond games. The end goal is to include NFT, copyrights, animation and IP businesses.
