- Game plans include consumables and wearable items.
- Airdrops coming soon during competitions.
- Pegaxy still retains 5K daily users.
Pegaxy, the simulated horse racing game, hinted at a new game update coming this July 7. Pegaxy has announced a busy list of upgrades, with in-race reward drops and consumables. As of June 30, it is stil, uncertain which of the updates will go live.
Based on the preview, the upgrade may also add wearable gear. Over time, Pegaxy has added more features to facilitate real player decision making. Adding consumables may also work as a sink for VIS tokens.
Can Pegaxy Recover
Pegaxy already uses a VIS sink to perform Genetic Fusion, which can upgrade Pegas while also preserving more of their genetic characteristics. Pegaxy also offers tools for peak performance to big guilds and owners, while still not having a favorable ratio for small-scale players.
For now, most of the efforts of the Pegaxy team have not managed to offer a meaningful VIS sink. VIS fell further, to $0.00009, adding another zero and sinking to an even lower range. Even at this range, VIS can continue to lose positions, making players race to sell faster.
PGX is down to $0.02, losing another 30% during the latest downturn. PGX is earned mostly by guilds for winning competitions. There are concerns that VIS may not recover, as it would need a significant rally to even get close to previous levels. VIS can no longer ensure a steady income from Pegaxy.
The extremely low VIS and PGX prices make it easier to breed and fuse Pegas, with the potential to seek NFT earnings from the game. Pegaxy still retains around 5.3K users based on DappRadar data, with $141.62K in MATIC turnover. Pegaxy is still ranked fifth on Polygon network, despite the slide in users from a peak above 20K.
High-ranking and rare Pegas resell for around 3 ETH, while the collection’s floor price continues to sink. Buying still occurs at 0.01 ETH, as the number of minting Pega is inching closer to 1M NFT.
