Axie Infinity is also trying to rebuild engagement through a series of mini-contests and e-sports events. The other source of growth remain the mini-games, as Sky Mavis has opened its Lunacia world and Axie characters for use in third-party products.
A new NFT feature is in the works, with the potential to place an offer for Axies that are not listed on the marketplace. The time-limited offer can connect players and activate previously idle Axies with in-demand features.
For those that want to swap their Axies for other rewards, a mass-release feature is now active, to save time on rearranging players’ NFT portfolios. Axis can be re-bought for as low as $5, and there is a mass challenge to go up the ranks and share in the end of season AXS reward.
Axie Homeland will continue to develop with many new surprises in 2023. A dungeon mini-game is also in the making, to be added to the success of Raylight and other mini-projects.
