Coming in Five Days: 0xBattleGround Prepares for Big Announcement

0xBattleGround is a battle royale game built on the 0x blockchain, one of the earlier networks with high speed and low fees. This gives the game access to the decentralized ecosystem of 0x Protocol, in addition to the game’s own qualities. 

0xBattleGround: League of Survivors is now preparing for another milestone, with a pre-announcement for a significant event coming in a few days. In January, the game hinted at an upcoming beta launch, with a battle pass campaign to receive early admission.

The game is still at the demo stage, so the announcement may bring the launch a step closer. The project’s goal is to deliver a Web3 game at a higher level, with realistic 3D graphics. The game for now delays tokenization or NFT sales, and has been mostly building its social media and Discord community. In the future, 0xBattleGround will add tokenization, though without outlining in detail the potential earnings.

As previously hinted, the game may start with a list of early signups and unroll the game with limited playing slots. 0xBattleGround is a relatively late arrival among Web3 games, and has been promoting its brand since August 2022, raising hopes for more milestones unlocked in 2023.

The team has been counting down in the past few days, offering a new development for the high-grade 3D game. The game is inspired by Call of Duty and other shooter franchises, and follows in the trend of Undead Blocks, Ev.IO and other action-packed battlers. 

0xBattleGround offers mixed game modes, with the possibility of multiplayer PvP, team mode and a rescue mission. The basic game will be free to play, but there are possibilities to breed specific characters with advanced skills. 

All weapons in the game are also mintable as NFT. Ammo is one of the resources found on the map, but players can also run out during the match. 0xBattleGround is win-to-earn, meaning only match winners will gain rewards. The game is skill-based, but also depends on the NFT statistics.
