- Ember Sword opens another creativity competition running in the coming days.
- The game is still in pre-launch stage, mostly depending on Land NFT sales.
- Ember Sword to migrate from Polygon to Immutable X.
Ember Sword, a sandbox MMORPG, is opening another competition for the creation of in-game Swords. Until September 8, players can craft swords and compete on their features.
Currently, Ember Sword is putting extra importance on its digital land, hence the reward will be a metaverse land plot. Previously, Ember Sword held a character skin and outfit competition for the month of August.
Ember Sword is one of the promising games that is still in an early stage, and is preparing for mass adoption. Recently, the game hinted at building up its account system. Even Web3 games try to offer a form of account registration to monitor their use and satisfy transparency requirements.
Ember Sword has released some digital assets and attracts dozens of users per day to interact with some of its smart contracts. Ember Sword uses Polygon for its existing assets, with LAND being the most active token. In the pre-sale stage of the game, players have claimed 3,425 tokens representing metaverse land plots.
Ember Sword Reaches Migration Deadline
Ember Sword intended to migrate its assets to Immutable X, a second-layer solution to scale Ethereum. The deadline of September 1 arrived, but the page available for the migration is not yet functional.
For the first players to migrate, there is a reward pool of 20K IMX tokens, capped at 150 IMX per person. One IMX token will be rewarded for each asset migrated. Players will still need some MATIC for transactions originating on the Polygon network.
Currently, Ember Sword is still in pre-release, mostly publishing teasers on upcoming art or buildings or other game elements. The game community has called for speeding up the launch process, as Emberd Sword has to compete with already playable Web3 games.
Ember Sword Land remains a strong NFT collection with significant utility. The collection reached 3.1K ETH in trades, and a floor price of 0.09 ETH for 40K listed items. Game badges are more rarely sold, with higher asking prices for rarity.
