Gala Games (GALA) had a winning streak in the past four days, moving from $0.20 to $0.25, following a listing to Binance.US. GALA is already available to US buyers with no restrictions through Coinbase.
But the additional pairs may expose GALA to more active trading, adding to the liquidity of its Binance International pair.
Like other P2E tokens, GALA has been sliding in the past months, but at current price levels there are expectations of a new breakout.
Will Gala Nodes Create Attraction
One of the new tools introduced to GALA owners and stakeholders of the project are nodes and music playing nodes.
Nodes are a way for participants to secure the Gala Games network, while receiving daily token rewards, NFTs and other perks. The price of a Gala Node as of March 2021 is 413,442.448 GALA, based on a scale of growing prices. Toward the end of 2021, the price of a node was around $18,000, while the latest price is above $103,000 equivalent.
The same principle was used for Gala Music Player Nodes, which started with a price of $1,200 and reached valuations of $25,000. At the end of February, Gala Music stopped the sale of nodes until further notice.
The idea of Player Nodes is to allow access to music, where each song is represented by an NFT. Playing the song then distributes rewards to the node operator, NFT owner and the author. Gala Music kicked off its music program with a Snoop Dog music NFT partnership.
Nodes are currently one of the more prohibitive tools for Gala Games earnings, but they are a way to hold GALA tokens off the market and boost the network’s value with more participants.
Spider Tanks Gains Traction
One of the reasons for the boost to Gala Games is the launch of Spider Tanks at the end of February. Spider Tanks was one of the long-awaited games, and is currently available as a desktop download for Windows.
OpenSea already hosts a secondary market with 53 playable tanks and a floor price of 0.029 ETH.
