The prizes will have a total value of $200K, paid out in the form of tokens and NFT. Signups for the Wild Card event will start from February 16, and a total of six teams will continue to the next stage. The group stages will start with 48 selected teams for the days of eliminations and finals.
Galaxy Fight Club to Reconsider P2E Model
Galaxy Fighters remains one of the active collections on OpenSea, with a common price of 0.09 ETH for most of the basic listed Heroes. In 2023, the game team will expand the game from its NFT adnd P2E basis, and turn it into a fun-first feature. Additionally, Galaxy Fight Club plans to introduce additional utility for all items collected from the game’s initial launch.
For those reasons, Galaxy Fight Club will phase out its 3V3 matches, which are the main way to grind for earnings, and instead offer Battle Royale for fun and more personal engagement. Galaxy Fight Club will also become a partner of Polygon Fractal, a project that will expose the game to more tournament opportunities. Galaxy Fight Club was also among the earlier P2E games and is carried by Yield Guild Games and other top guilds.
