- Honeyland is preparing for an open beta, currently offering bonuses for early alpha testers.
- Mints will cost 1.5 SOL for all, offering early access to rare Bees.
- Honeyland will be play-to-own, with Bee and Land NFT.
Honeyland, which spent the last quarter of 2022 preparing for its NFT mint, has finally reached the event deadline. This Wednesday, December 21, Honeyland will mint its NFT collection, which is at the basis of the main resource-based gameplay. Honeyland offers several biomes, which require Bees with matching characteristics for higher returns on Hunting and Harvesting missions.
The Honeyland game alpha is already available for free, but the mints will grant an additional advantage in gathering resources. Despite the bear market, Honeyland will still use Solana for its mint, with a relatively low asking price of 1.5 SOL for all whitelisted players.
For now, the Alpha version will remain unconnected to the newly minted NFT, which will run on the Solana mainnet. The Alpha will continue for a while more, and all the tokens will be on the Devnet, meaning real earnings will not be possible for a while.
Magic Eden Offers Multiple NFT Mints
The Magic Eden platform, which will carry the initial Honeyland mint, is a hub for Ethereum, Solana and Polygon projects. Magic Eden is also offering perks for regular mint participants, and recently announced its own NFT collection with an incentive to hold.
Playing the Alpha Version is another way to gain special NFT and badges. The Honeyland team has prepared 500K Honey Tokens for rewards, and another 500K as a bug bounty. While the open beta of the game may be months ahead, Honeyland offers early access with the chance of becoming one of the early owners. The real value in the game will come from assets given in the beta version, the current alpha earnings are just for testing and do not have a market value.
The alpha version is open for new registrations, either via a Web2 Google identity, or through a wallet. Solana testnets are accessible to the Phantom wallet, a browser plugin that works similar to MetaMask. Phantom Wallet can give access to the Devnet and Testnet necessary for the current version of Honeyland.
