Metathieves is a fully launched NFT game, with looting and team-based fights as its main gameplay. Now, the game is gaining traction while offering a small NFT giveaway active until October 31.
Additionally, minting rules for rarity are changing and players may have a chance for a more rare playable character. Thieves are important to the game’s end results, and Metathieves is among the games with a valuable NFT collection.
Metathieves is a late arrival from September 2022, showing there is still place for fun games with a fully developed storyline. The game will also offer regular updates to keep players engaged. The Thief NFT characters will give players access to different game modes.
Metathieves centers around a virtual city, where players can choose adventure or survival mode. In either case, players will meet and battle zombies, who also come in wave attacks.
The game reached its Phase III based on a tentative roadmap, launching its NFT collection and token, as well as the basic playing modes. Currently, the game still supports the sale of 4 types of Mystery Boxes: Silver, Gold, Amethyst and Diamond. The prices range between 20 and 215 BUSD, the Binance ecosystem stablecoins.
Currently, unpacked Thieves from the mystery boxes have a very small secondary market, with only tentative listings on OpenSea.
The game will have two additional item types, armor and weapons, which will also work as NFT on the game’s marketplace. When launched, the items will give an advantage in the different game modes.
Metathieves Gives Up on Native Token
The Metathieves game has chosen to discontinue the MTT token, due to liquidity challenges. Instead, the game will use Binance Coin (BNB) as its main reward mechanism. BNB is one of the most liquid crypto assets, also easily swappable for BUSD.
This also means the game gave up on holding an IDO, and instead launched its main net version this October, only relying on the Binance ecosystem tokens. BNB and BUSD are also instruments to purchase additonal Thieves.
