- Nifty Islands offers a sandbox-type creative game, where players compete for most visits to their islands.
- The game is available on Ethereum and Polygon, bringing items to OpenSea for resale.
- Nifty Islands is download-ready, with official open beta coming soon.
Nifty Island is a newly trending metaverse game, with unique hand-drawn designs. The end goal is to build the Niftyverse, which will include a hangout open world, as well as mini-games with P2E opportunities. The open world will also include NFT from partner collections.
Unlike other metaverses, Nifty Island will not sell land plots. Each new user will receive a location to build up. But players can buy NFT avatars from the Nifty Island marketplace, including all metaverse-ready items from other collections. This way, Nifty Island will resemble The Sandbox, which includes multiple NFT editions from other franchises.
All player islands have unique shapes and terrains, offering multiple building challenges. Despite an empty island being free, players can resell once they achieve their goals of creating unique structures.
The game’s NFT marketplace also contains natural features, decorations, 2D features, art, avatars and more.
Nifty Island is at the pre-launch stage, offering a preview of its opportunities. The goal is to attract enough players and offer an infinity of mini-games and user-generated content. Players can even import their own NFT collections and present them to the marketplace.
Nifty Island Offers Sandbox Features, Leaderboard
Nifty Island is already available for download for iOS and Windows. The game offers sandbox-like building with available resources, but there are also early attempts to build leaderboards.
The leaderboards measure the most visits to a location, still marking only a few dozen visits as the game is in its early stages. Nifty Island is a double-chain game, available on Polygon and Ethereum, mostly for transferring the NFT.
Some of the Nifty Island items, such as Legendary Palms, have moved to the outside market and are featured on OpenSea.
Players will soon be ready to build avatars and deploy them directly into the game.
The game will also host the Web3 identity of players, and animate all avatars in the game’s style. Recently, Nifty Island added new features to build parkour challenges, also with the goal of increased visits to islands. The game’s creator hub is also ready, with the potential to sell the items in the marketplace.
