Outer Ring MMO Opens Giveaway, Racing Snapshot Competition

• Outer Ring aims to launch its P2E pre-alpha version in June.

Outer Ring is an open-universe MMO in a mix of futuristic and fantasy settings, leaving players to join a guild and progress with sandbox-style creativity. Outer Ring offers players the chance to become space pirates, with multiple mini-games possible. The game’s goal is to have a player-driven experience, while participating in the game’s economy. 

Currently, Outer Ring is running a content competition based on game exploration and space ship snapshots.

Previously, Outer Ring held a wallet snapshot to determine which addresses held more than 500K GQ tokens, to be eligible for a giveaway raffle.

The giveaways and raffles are part of the game’s attempt to reach a wider audience. Outer Ring went through a recent redesign of its species and other game elements, preparing to launch a new chapter with some space lore to help with the free exploration. 

Outer Ring Prepares for Lore Campaign, Pre-Alpha Launch

Outer Ring starts out with a home base, where players can use their spaceship to navigate to new space colonies and cities. The multiple game structures contain self-forming communities, which resemble other metaverse hangouts. Outer Ring even hosts DeFI projects like Dextools with a location in the metaverse. 

The free exploration stage will continue for a while, as the Outer Ring team prepares a set of new lore for the five playable species in the Outer World. The game’s official release is still some months away, despite having a preview from streamers and the potential to explore the metaverse. However, the playable competitive version with P2E is still to be released. 

Outer Ring will also contain the chance of owning digital land, with a plot sale coming soon. The plots will be available as small, medium and large land in the initial sale, with Huge-level land plots available after Q2. Additionally, Outer Ring will offer craftable NFT items. 

Outer Ring is preparing to offer its pre-alpha game for testing around June 2023. In the meantime, the game offers a technical demo, as well as physical merchandise with game-themed art.
