- Stratis brings .NET tools for building on its native blockchain.
- The Unreal SDK and the Unity SDK offer Web3 additions for complex 3D games.
- Stratis offers staking and a native STRAX wallet with a hybrid blockchain.
Stratis is one of the latest blockchains to join the trend of supporting Web3 gaming. After years in development and seeking use cases, Stratis has added its own Unreal Engine SDK, targeting developers aiming to build high-grade games with P2E potential.
Stratis has been added as a free addition to the Unreal marketplace for developer resources.
The Unreal Engine SDK is targeted to experienced game developers. Its main feature is to supply the game with NFT, a token and blockchain-based interactions between players, as well as players and the game environment. The SDK also contains tools to set up internal game NFT marketplaces.
Stratis Targets .NET Developers
Stratis is one of the older blockchains, appearing first as an ICO in 2017, with the main goal of offering business-grade blockchain speed. Stratis has a native blockchain and side-chain technology for additional gaming speed. For now, Stratis is not among the top game-carrying blockchains, but has added DeFi features and apps.
The Stratis platform has offered multiple Web3 features during the boom of NFT, and has built Unity and Unreal SDK. With the addition to the Unreal hub of resources, Stratis may get a higher profile among game producers.
Stratis is also unique for targeting Microsoft developers, utilizing C# for its smart contracts. The Stratis ecosystem also targets the .NET community with a series of courses to onboard traditional developers to Web3.
Stratis also boosts projects with its Decentralized Accelerator, using its influence in DeFi and crypto space to discover tools of funding. New Web3 startups can use Stratis to support some of their projects.
The Stratis protocol mixes features of the Bitcoin network with token staking. This network requires STRAX wallet, which also works for all end users that stake STRAX. For now, Stratis building requires more advanced skills compared to other Web3 environments. The Stratis tools remain free, and the project offers community-based curation and consulting.
