Telos Foundation to Bring Speed to GameFi and Web3 Gaming

Telos is using the Antelope framework, compatible with EOS, WAX and other blockchains with high-speed transactions suitable for gaming.
  • Telos Foundation uses the Antelope framework, similar to WAX, another leading Web3 network.
  • Telos is an EVM-compatible blockchain with a Web3 builder package.
  • Telos aims to expand its list of games, by offering no-lag and free transactions.

Telos Foundation aims to turn into one of the top gaming network, offering high-speed GameFi functionalities. Telos aims to onboard more gaming projects to Web3 with a promise of speed and security. The Telos blockchain is a proprietary networkwax with low latency and low-fee transactions.

Currently, Telos Foundation is partnering with prominent Web3 hubs, including GameStopNFT, to establish ownership, smooth compatible transactions and a liquid marketplace for digital items.

Telos offers tools to deploy games and avoid downtime or lagging transactions. Telos also offers a seamless toolkit to create games with added Web3 tokenization, swapping capabilities or GameFi. The hub is directly targeting Web3 builders, offering better performance compared to other scalable networks.

While Telos is a new network, it is also compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), meaning Web3 developers can deploy Ethereum-based apps, compatible with the swapping and GameFi ecosystem.

Telos Offers EVM and Native Tools

Telos brings a toolset to build and test apps, with both EVM and native tools. The Telos blockchain uses technology similar to the EOS blockchain, but specially tailored to gaming and separate from the older EOS ecosystem.

Telos offers a connection approach through a web-based wallet, and still relies on bridging services. For a fuller understanding of Telos opportunities, the Foundation has provided learning resources, as well as a community forum.

Telos is already hosting multiple dApps, lately with a focus on Web3 gaming and GameFi. For now, Telos hosts several small-scale games, including Dragon Fly, Heart Farms, Kolobok Adventures, and XPell. The new blockchain is still niche compared to bigger networks like Solana and Avalanche, and is now competing for reaching part of the Web3 developer talent.

Telos aims to make game building more predictable by offering tools for fixed-rate transactions. End users in Web3 aim for a seamless experience, without unexpected blockchain fees adding up.

Telos uses the Antelope framework, an open-source toolset for blockchain communications and other Web3 features. Antelope is also used by older blockchains WAX and EOS, which have gained their share of P2E and later, Web3 games and NFT trading.
