- Zoids Wild Arena will launch its first event with a $30K prize pool from April 5.
- Allow list open for next free Genesis mint of 1,000 Zoids NFT.
- NFT marketplace and trading to open from April 12.
Zoids Wild Arena, a game still in its testing stage, will add another batch of NFT in an upcoming launchpad mint. Zoids Wild Arena is a battle and defense game centered around playable NFT with varied skills. Until recently, Zoids Wild Arena relied on limited playable events for testing.
Zoids, the playable characters, are animalistic mecha robots, which face off in teams. Each Zoid has stats that help in attacks and defenses, and takes part in grid-based arena battles. On April 3, exactly 1,000 Genesis NFT Zoids will be minted, in preparation for the next steps in the game.
The NFT mint follows an allow list procedure, due to the limited supply of the free mint. Despite being mostly in-game utility NFT, the Zoids, wrapped as playable cards, are also offered on OpenSea, with no fixed prices for auctions.
The allow list is open until March 30, in partnership with One Planet. Players must complete a series of small Gleam challenges and register one wallet per user or risk a ban.
Zoids Wild Arena Prepares for First Tournament
Zoids Wild Arena is also preparing for a competitive event in April, with a $30K prize pool. The game has pre-announced its first open championship, tapping its Discord community.
The event will count as the game’s first playable season, with more to come. For now, Zoids Wild Arena has not revealed its player count. The game relies on BNB Chain for its NFT mints and tokenization.
Along with the season-opening in about eight days, Zoids Wild Arena will add an early bird sale for attack cards. Players can now purchase in bulk, with 90-card decks available. Purchasers of earlier Deluxe packs can add more new decks during the current Early Bird sale.
Zoids Wild Arena will also upgrade its main features, and launch NFT trading, listing and a marketplace around April 12, to facilitate the earnings and tradings from the first season.
