- Crabada overhauled its game after discontinuing idle mode.
- New skills balance, Equipment and craftable items now add extra challenges.
- Players will hunt for Diamonds, Rubies and Gold Under Sea (GUS).
Crabada is ready with its new version, which will also bring a new token model and reward system. The game will introduce Gold Under Sea (GUS) as its main in-game reward token. The older token, TUS, will be reserved for paying fees on Swimmer Network and for node operator rewards.
Mining and looting will both bring similar rewards, including Material Chests, Crystal Shells, Player XP, Rubies, and Guardian’s Bounty. The resource collection will have no cap for players, and they can use each Special Mining Zone as many times as desired. However, a mining or a looting session will now become more costly – 4 energy bubbles instead of one.
Materials will not be awarded separately, and instead each mining or looting session will bring one material chest with a pack of various items. The contents of the materials chest will depend on the biome of the special mining zone.
Certain utility items will improve mining and looting. Spinach found in the game can boost energy for another immediate session, while a Dragnet item will offer players to withdraw all their rewards in one go.
Battle Game Builds New Balance
The Battle Mode game will also see changes in the power balance and skills for the attack and defense of crabs.
Battles will become more dynamic with the 30-moves rule, after which all participants will get a power boost and play with a sudden death rule. The rule will apply to the levels-based battle game, as well as to Arena Mode. Adventure mode, which replaces the discontinued idle game, will remain unchanged.
Crabada Introduces Crafting
Crafting will be based on three new assets – GUS, as well as Diamonds and Rubies. Diamonds will have a fixed supply and act as a hard currency, while Rubies will have a flexible supply.
Diamonds will be key to generating Dragnets and Spinach, if they are not dropped by luck.
Even before the changes, Crabada was rebuilding its daily user count, and may be one of the busiest games linked to the Avalanche ecosystem.
Crabada rewards players, but also aims to reward its node operators to boost the security of Swimmer Network.
