- Mobox is still amobg top BSC games.
- MOMOFarmer 2.1 offers new MOMO creatures, updated game rules.
Mobox announced the next update in its MOMOVerse, the release of MOMO Farmer 2.1. With this update, Mobox further expands the experiences and missions available in the MOMOVerse.
The MOMOVerse is an evolving set of experiences, where the Mobox team plans to add varied building mechanics and game rules. MOMOVerse started with mining and MOMO hunting missions, as well as farming. Over time, the potential to generate resources and receive rewards will grow.
Currently, Mobox NFT Farmer is still the most active game, with more than $21M in value locked, but the goal of Mobox is to make the MOMOVerse its main hub of growth.
The MOMOVerse is also the major driver behind the Mobox NFT collections, creating applications for playable avatars and the MOMO animal-like creatures. Not all NFT have found their way into the game, and Binance NFT even created a MOMO Burn event, to encourage the removal of non-KYC ownership.
Mobox is also among the biggest sellers of NFT on the network, mostly before its game release as a form of marketing. Some of the MOMO NFT are used for staking on NFT Farmer.
MBOX Still Trying to Move Up from Lows
The MBOX token sees regular burns to limit the supply. Despite this, MBOX still trades around $0.53, near a three-month low. The latest burn happened days ago, reaching $200K equivalent.
MBOX now raises the question of being capable to regroup and stage a rally to a higher range. The game is set to continue with long-term development, but for most tokens, it may be difficult to recover after losing 95% of their value. MBOX peaked at $12.96 at the end of 2021, which marked the high water mark for the P2E market.
Since then, the Mobox metaverse is looking for new paths towards sustainability, with small-scale rewards, challenges and daily item earnings. Mobox remains one of the top BSC projects both in terms of players and token activity.
