P2E and Web3 Weekly Review (February 10- February 17, 2023)

Axie Infinity is entering the end stage of its Season 2, with Mystic NFT for rewards.

The Web3 and P2E space sees a constant inflow of new projects, and more platforms are offering onboarding services. Fantasy games and high-quality metaverses are launching. New high-profile NFT sales are rare, but still happening for top projects. Others choose a low-cost NFT model, or distribute the items as the game progresses.

P2E Token Price Action

The market cap of all P2E tokens moved up to $6.99B, as the crypto markets recovered. Games are also decoupling from their crypto side, focusing more on player reach than token performance.

Upcoming Airdrops and Giveaways

NFT mints are now happening on a varied list of networks. Make sure you are using the right wallet, or have MetaMask set up to the right network. New collections are unpredictable and do not guarantee a high market value. Some of the collections have holding incentives or are used to be eligible for further mints or a game.

Avoid following mint links sent through direct messages, chats or other solicitations, and always follow official links. Be aware some of the free collections may still require fees, or incur listing fees for resale.
