Thetan Arena, one of the idle and P2P RPG, is preparing for a new set of tournaments. The game will add arena-style battles with a limited time span and a reward pool. Thetan Arena also wants to expand Hero trading and make the NFT more active by setting up advantages for recent trades.
The Hero trading session is scheduled for this Friday, July 15, as part of the quest-to-earn element in the game.
The Battle Arena check-in and tournament will all take place this July 22, and will distribute a prize pool equivalent to $150. The tournament will be limited to 32 teams, picked from the United Gamers Discord channel. Previously, Thetan Arena has held closed tournaments with targeted servers, to avoid too much competition. The game will be limited to known players to track for match-fixing.
Thetan Arena Offers Loot Box
An easy loot box is also waiting for all Thetan Arena players. The only prerequisite is to use the Coinbase Wallet to visit the Thetan Arena hero marketplace. The loot is part of the new quest-to-earn with daily tasks, mostly related to the Marketplace. The simple tasks, such as logging in daily, aim to raise awareness and help players get more familiar with the NFT market of the game.
The Coinbase wallet extension is enough to find the game loot box. The offer will be open between 18-31 July. The loot will be available even for accounts created after July 13, but they will have to wait to receive their loot until July 25. Older player accounts can receive the prize immediately after logging in. Loot is limited to $30 in value, and will be distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Thetan Arena Aims to Boost Token Valuations
Thetan Arena remains one of the busiest P2E games, but its two-token model has felt the pressure of the bear market.
THG, the voting and staking token, is now down to $0.08, continuing its long-term slide. Thetan Coin (THC) is at $0.004. Thetan Arena introduced strategic token burns for THC, though it may take more to affect the price.
