Vulcan Forged remained one of the top game hubs in 2022, succeeding to bring forward several highly visited games. Now, Vulcan Forged is announcing several updates to its top headlines, Berserker and Vulcan Runner.
Berserk also had a series of updates to its complex lore and earning mechanisms. Berserk:Vulcanites Unleashed had its smoothness bugs fixed for a better in-game feel. The game also fixed bugs with its card playing and dealing system, as well as the value balance and the list of cards available for play.
Vulcan Forged also turned into a Web3 hub with the potential for free app access and a mix of tokenized income and ownership. In the past year, Vulcan Forged finally launched the LAVA token, which has strong incentives to be kept inside the game. Vulcan Forged also created the first metaverse bank, which allows players to use their in-game avatars to deposit LAVA.
In addition to the main adventure-themed games, Vulcan Forged released mini games and additions, which also show on-chain activity. The latest addition was Fables of Fyra, which has a different esthetic centering around NFT dragons.
Elysium Network Near Completion
Elysium, the native network of the VulcanVerse, is nearing completion. On December 25, all PYR holders participated in a snapshot to transfer the assets to a new network.
Elysium aims to be the blockchain for games, also drawing in business entities as node operators. Some of the most advanced nodes on Elysium require a significant investment of PYR locked up for staking. SkyBridge, a global investment entity, is one of the first to add a Cronus Proof-of-Authority node, requiring one of the highest involvement tiers.
The PYR token will remain important as a tool to use some of the features by Vulcan Forged. The PYR-based metaverse as a service will require tokens to start building. PYR is available to buy for fiat after a Binance exchange listing, and has multiple applications within the collection of Vulcan games.
