Voxie Tactics is already in the first days of its pre-season challenge, to run for about 10 more weeks. The game is picking up speed after spending months as a free-to-play battle game. The pre-season will test the game’s potential to build up leaderboards and share a prize pool.
The pre-season arrived along with a new game trailer, bringing back attention to one of the older P2E games.
The current prize pool will be equivalent to around $520,000 to the top 26% of the leaderboard. The gameplay and the prizes will be available globally, reaching big P2E communities.
Along with the competitive element, Always Geeky Games will also bring several game updates. The game will also move to the Polygon network, a blockchain carrying several prominent P2E games.
Voxie Tactics will also include item upgrade mechanics, and introduce recently unveiled renting.
NFT Ownership Offers Access to Extreme Arena
Voxie Tactics is also applying models where owning an NFT is a key to entering restricted game modes. The Extreme Arena will be open to Voxie avatar owners, or through buying an Extreme Pass, another type of NFT with special perks.
The Extreme Arena will also distribute 75% of all season rewards, with the top player earning 150K VOX tokens. Winners will also receive extremely rare or one-of-a-kind NFT weapons.
Voxie Tactics Migration Calls to All Owners
Voxie Tactics has now disabled all NFT sales on Ethereum, effective since September 20. All Voxies held by players must be migrated by a manual process through a dedicated page.
Voxie Tactics is one of the games that has chosen a Layer 2 solution. The new NFT collection will be updated with the right metadata, so all Voxie characters will be accessible and have a mark of migrating to Polygon.
All Ethereum NFT will have a 100% commission fee on resale, to encourage migration. The correct collection will be Voxies, a different access point. Voxies Legacy will hold non-migrated assets. The game is also producing weapons and items, which are actively traded on OpenSea.
