- Crabada will announce economy rebalancing in October.
- Crab breeding accelerates since Swimmer Network launch.
- Partner game Snake City now opens Free Zone for play-and-earn.
Crabada is showing signs of growth and activity, with more TUS transfers and more active breeding. The game is constantly adding new challenges after its migration to Swimmer Network, and has abandoned the grind of an early-stage P2E idle game.
The Crabada gaming team is also on the verge of announcing a new economy rebalancing, to make the P2E element more viable. The value of NFT may also get a boost. Currently, rare and purebred Crab NFT are taking the lead, but breeding for mixed traits and novelty may also hold market appeal.
Crab Sales and Breeding Pick Up
Crab sales picked up in September, as more players are building teams for the Battle Mode levels and the Arena. The signs of increased activity show Crabada is still popular despite the bear market.
The game shows significant growth in the Crab population, especially after the migration to Swimmer Network. Multiple types of Crab are growing, with most expansion in the Prime type.
The entire Crabada NFT population is closing in on 300K crabs – a still relatively small NFT population compared to games like Axie Infinity or Pegaxy. The most rare types of Crabs count in the hundreds, potentially commanding higher prices. Regular crabs are accessible at around 18-25K TUS tokens.
Crabs may have features that are favorable to the game, but for now player level is tied to the user’s account, and not to the Crab NFT.
Snake City Free Zone Now Open
On September 29, the first partner game of Swimmer Network launched its Free Zone. This is an entry-level P2E tier for Snake City, where all players can start with a free team and acquire tokens or NFT by playing.
Snake City is also opening a migration period for all assets to move to Swimmer Network.
Snake City will have similar mechanics to Crabada, with breeding and battles, but with a different community and a new start. Breedable Snakes have varied traits to encourage both pure breeds and experiments.
